What makes Untoxicate different from other hydration powders?
Untoxicate is a bio-functional recovery drink that combines clinical-grade electrolytes with four liver-supporting ingredients: DHM (dihydromyricetin) for accelerating acetaldehyde breakdown, Milk Thistle for hepatocyte support, Glutathione as a master antioxidant for liver detoxification, and Piperine to enhance bioavailability. Most hydration powders only replace fluids and electrolytes — Untoxicate also actively supports the liver during the recovery window. It's designed for the morning after, occasional celebrations, or anytime you want to feel rebalanced.
Is it just for drinking after alcohol?
No. While Untoxicate excels after a night out, the formula's combination of hydration, liver support, and recovery makes it useful in multiple contexts. Take it before bed after drinking, the morning after, before or after a workout, during travel to combat dehydration, with heavy or processed meals, or as part of a daily wellness routine. The DHM and antioxidants support recovery whenever your body is under stress, not just from alcohol.
What does it taste like?
Untoxicate comes in two flavors: Raspberry Watermelon and Lemon Lime. Both are formulated to be light and refreshing without the heavy salt finish of typical hydration drinks or the artificial sweetness of competitors. We use natural flavoring and a clean sweetener blend (allulose, monk fruit extract, and stevia) so there's no bitterness, weird aftertaste, or sugar crash.
Is it sugar-free?
Yes! zero added sugar. Untoxicate uses a clean sweetener blend of allulose, monk fruit extract, and stevia. These are three plant-based, low-glycemic sweeteners that don't spike blood sugar or cause GI issues. No artificial sweeteners, no sugar alcohols, no high-fructose corn syrup.
When should I take it?
For best results, drink one stick mixed with 12–16oz of water before bed on a night you've consumed alcohol — that's when the DHM and antioxidants do their work during the body's recovery window. You can also take it the morning after for additional electrolyte and B-vitamin support, before or after workouts, during travel, or any time you want clean hydration with liver-friendly nutrients.
Is Untoxicate FDA approved?
Dietary supplements aren't FDA-approved by regulation — supplements don't require FDA approval before being marketed in the U.S. However, Untoxicate is manufactured in an FDA-registered facility under cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards, using third-party tested ingredients. Each batch is tested for purity and potency before release.
About the Liver Function Test Kit:

What does the test measure?
The Untoxicate Advanced Liver Function Test measures three key liver enzymes physicians use to assess liver health:
- ALT (alanine aminotransferase) — an enzyme found primarily in the liver. Elevated levels can indicate hepatocyte stress or damage.
- AST (aspartate aminotransferase) — found in liver, heart, and muscle tissue. Elevated levels often signal cell or tissue damage when paired with elevated ALT.
- GGT (gamma-glutamyl transferase) — the most sensitive marker of liver strain related to alcohol consumption, certain medications, or lifestyle factors.
Together, these three biomarkers give a clinical-grade picture of how your liver is responding to your lifestyle.
How does the test work?
It’s quick and simple:
1. Apply the microneedle device to your upper arm — no finger prick or traditional blood draw required.
2. The microneedle painlessly collects a small blood sample.
3. Seal the sample and mail it to our certified lab using the prepaid return envelope.
4. Receive your results within days in your secure online dashboard, with a clear interpretation of each biomarker.
Is it safe and accurate?
Yes. Untoxicate uses a certified laboratory and the same biomarkers physicians order during routine bloodwork. The microneedle collection method is clinically validated for accuracy. Your sample is processed using equipment that meets clinical diagnostic standards.*
Will I understand my results?
Yes. Your results come with a clear dashboard that shows each enzyme level, where it falls (low, normal, high, or abnormal), and what it means in plain language. The Untoxicate app helps you track changes over time so you can see whether lifestyle adjustments are improving your numbers.
What if my results are high?
Elevated liver enzymes can result from several factors — alcohol consumption, certain medications, high-fat or processed diets, intense exercise, or underlying health conditions. The test is a tracking tool, not a diagnostic. If your results are flagged high or abnormal, we recommend sharing them with your healthcare provider for personalized guidance and any follow-up testing they may suggest. The test gives you insight; your doctor gives you a diagnosis.**
Can I test again later?
Yes. The Untoxicate system is designed for ongoing tracking — most users retest every 60–90 days to see trends rather than single-point readings. You can purchase additional test kits any time, and your dashboard preserves your history so you can monitor whether your numbers are improving over time.
Is my information private?
Completely. Only you can see your results. All samples are securely processed and your data is encrypted.
Is it covered by insurance?
Most at-home liver function tests aren't covered by traditional health insurance, and the Untoxicate test is no exception. However, it may be eligible for HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account) reimbursement — contact your plan administrator to confirm. We provide an itemized receipt for your records.
